Cindy Standen
Many of you may be very familiar with Cindy Standen, as she is one of the friendly faces that greats you when you walk in. Cindy has been working for the club for 2 years and has been a great asset to the front desk team.
Cindy grew up in Richmond, Virginia and attended Elon College in North Carolina. She received her B.A. in Business Administration. She and her family relocated to Salem, OR in 1990, for a job opportunity for her husband. Little did she know that they would still be in Oregon today. They moved to Sisters in 2006 for a lifestyle change and her husband now commutes to Willamette University in Salem on weekly basis.
Cindy has many goals and accomplishments and number one on her list is having children/being a mom. She has 3 wonderful children: Emily (22) who lives in New York, Jonathan (17) a junior at Sisters High School and Trevor (13) is in the 7th grade at Sisters Middle School. Some of her goals are to climb the South Sister (this summer), improve her yoga practice, and take a digital photography class.
Cindy has many interests, which include gardening, reading, quilting, yoga, traveling, walking, and watching her boys play sports. Next time you are in the café, check out Cindy’s quilting talents, as she made the coffee cup quilt hanging on the wall.
