Charlie’s Challenge 15k
Come benefit the Sisters Cross Country Team on one of Coach Charlie Kanzig’s favorite local running routes. This event begins at Sisters Athletic Club on Sunday June 19, 2011 at 9:30 AM. From here, Charlie will get a 20 minute head start and racers will follow on a 15k run over single track, winding through the Peterson Ridge Trail system and then onto Eagle Rock before returning to Sisters Athletic Club for cold beverages and snacks. Support the Sisters Cross Country program and race through scenic Sisters, Oregon.
The CHALLENGE- If you beat Charlie in the race, you will get a free Charlie’s Challenge memento. Charlie gets a 20 minute head-start, so have your racing legs ready to go!
The PRIME- Be the first to catch Charlie on course and finish the race (you don’t have to be first at the finish line) and receive the PRIME prize! Go out hard- it will be worth it!
Registration available at Sisters Athletic Club and Blazin’ Saddles in Sisters. Same day registration is available at Sisters Athletic Club, cash or check only please. See you on Father’s Day!!!
