Hot Tub
Some rewards are best enjoyed slowly. After a demanding workout, a long swim, a challenging class, or simply a long day of being human, the Sisters Athletic Club outdoor hot tub is waiting — warm, open, and ready to do what only 104 degrees of soothing, bubbling water can do for a body that has earned a moment of genuine rest.
Our outdoor hot tub is maintained at a steady 104°F and open year-round, which means it is just as welcoming on a crisp Central Oregon winter morning with snow on the mountains as it is on a warm summer evening with the stars coming out over Sisters. In fact, many of our members will tell you that soaking in a steaming hot tub while the cold air swirls around you is one of the singular pleasures that makes membership at SAC genuinely special — an experience you simply cannot replicate anywhere else.
The therapeutic benefits of hot water immersion are profound and well-documented. The heat increases circulation and blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients to tired, worked muscles while flushing out the metabolic byproducts that cause soreness and stiffness. The buoyancy of the water relieves pressure on joints, allowing muscles and connective tissue to relax more deeply than they can on dry land. The warmth calms the nervous system, lowers cortisol levels, and creates the kind of deep, full-body relaxation that carries over into better sleep, better recovery, and a better overall sense of well-being.
But beyond the science, there is something simpler and equally valuable happening in the hot tub — conversation, connection, and the unhurried pleasure of sharing a warm, comfortable space with fellow members who understand that wellness is about more than just the workout. Some of the best conversations in the club happen right here.
Slip in after your swim. Soak before your drive home. Sit with a friend or sit in quiet solitude. Either way, the hot tub is one of those uncomplicated, deeply satisfying amenities that members consistently count among their favorite reasons to belong.
Open year-round. Maintained at 104°F. Members under 14 must have adult supervision.
